Epic Games is making constant changes to the Fortnite Battle Royale to not only keep the game updated but to make it appealing to everyone whether competitive or casual. Remember the first time when you’ve just gotten into the genre? Sure, your first a couple of matches may have lasted for a short time due to just getting started.
Although you kept going and got better at it, not everyone feels the same. In fact, dying over and over again without not being able to accomplish anything in the game definitely frustrates many.
And exactly to combat this, Epic is bringing in a major update on the matchmaking system. Players will be matchmaking based on their skillset. It’s currently unknown how each player’s skill will be determined but a great example of this could be KDA and average survival time each game.
On top of all this, there will be bots just so that newer players wouldn’t shy away from the game immediately and make the learning curve faster. Epic Games Fortnite team stated “They will behave similarly to normal players and will help provide a better path for players to grow in skill. Bots will work in conjunction with the new matchmaking system, and as your skill improves, you’ll face fewer Bots.” on their latest blog post.
When the bots are coming to the game?
It is set to be a thing in Battle Royale when Season 11 starts. Given that there is approximately less than 30 days are left, Fortnite bots are something that Epic Games has been working for a while.
Also, the bots will behave very similar to normal players but the most curious part of it is their aim and building. After all, it takes many hours of practice to get good at building and shooting in Fortnite, unlike other Battle Royale titles.
Overall, it is definitely going to be a great addition to those who play rarely and to those who are just beginning with Fortnite.
