Another Fortnite Battle Royale season is coming closer to an end. This makes the players wonder what’s going to be next for the Season 9. There haven’t been any announcements from Epic about it but we got some hints! Fortnite’s latest mystery is all about the runes that appeared across its map, each one of these runes has their own challenge. However, the fifth and final rune involves the island volcano which seems to be teasing for a huge change in Fortnite Battle Royale. The players have to fill the meters when coming across to these runes. To fill the first rune, you have to pickaxe it until the meter fills up. The second rune asks you to hit lasers with your pickaxe. The third one, however, requires you to dance in front of it and the fourth one requires you to match tiles on the ground.
Once you get your hands on the fifth and the last rune, you need to feed the volcano with building materials and ammo to fill the meter. The challenge isn’t complete yet by the look of the things but many Fortnite players are reporting that their games occasionally growl as if the volcano was about to erupt. We don’t know what’s the meaning of all of this but we have covered in an earlier article about what a volcanic eruption could mean and change the fate of the map completely. You can read the article from the link below.
Fortnite Week 10 challenges will shoot you out of a pirate cannon and fire through three flaming hoops. This isn’t the most difficult Fortnite Weekly challenge yet but finding the hoops can be a tough one if you don’t know where to look. To find the flaming hoops,
- Play any mode of Fortnite Battle Royale, preferably Solo mode since it’s the best for challenges like these.
- You can find the flaming hoops around the pirate camps so check your map to see if you are close to one of them.
- Since you only need to shoot yourself through three hoops, make sure to keep track of which you aim for.
When does Fortnite Battle Royale Season 9 Start?
This is the biggest questions we get asked for the last couple of weeks since the timer on the Season 8 Battle Pass hits the May 8 as its end date. This means that Season 9 of Fortnite is likely to go live on May 8 or 9 if there won’t be any delays. Out of all these Fortnite seasons ends and starts, most of the Seasons have set to be live right after the season ends. Since Epic Games keeps Fortnite up to date with updates every week, we don’t expect any hiccups with the launch of Season 9.
